Below you can see shots I was responsible for as an Environment and Lighting artist. Raw renders with Houdini and Redshift.
As you can see, they were alive. I worked with concepts and feedback till we got the final renders. Below more.
Thanks to our VFX team that did those smoke assets, I placed them almost everywhere. I created the lava shader with animated noises, on the example below you can see how those noises were not interacting with the walls' border, but for the production timing and camera - that was enough.
