WRITER & DIRECTOR, ENVIRONMENT & LIGHTING

This is my second CGI project where I served as a director and writer at Wargaming. It's one of the most ambitious projects our team has undertaken, as we aimed to showcase the quality of our work to potential clients. I'm immensely grateful for the trust and feedback from everyone involved! I'm proud to have had the opportunity to contribute to this project. Every shot is the result of teamwork!

As an Environmental artist, I crafted landscape meshes from heightfield maps for two colonization scenes, employing scattering and instancing techniques to enhance detail. Huge thanks to my teammates for their invaluable advice and assistance in this endeavor! The lighting and rendering of that scene were executed by our team, my focus was solely on mesh creation and masks for shading. I also lighted all open space shots. Below, you can witness the evolution of this project.

The plot of this trailer is a reference to my exciting revenge gaming session in the 4X strategy game, the conditions of which represent the player with a difficult moral choice. Many thanks to Eugene Smozhevsky for formulating this story and for his immersive voice acting.
